Bryce Dallas Howard is the new face of Kate Spade spring/summer 2011 campaign. The beautiful 29-year-old actress looks absolutely adorable and playful in the ad campaigns made by famous fashion photographer Norman Jean Roy.

Event though in 18 years of existence, the Kate Spade brand has never used a celebrity in its campaigns in order to promote their collections, at the beginning of 2011 they decided to name a new cover girl and for the first time in the company’s history they chose an actress as their ambassador. This special girl is the adorable actress Bryce Dallas Howard.

The 29-year-old actress will be the new image for the Kate Spade spring/summer 2011 campaign. Speaking about this collaboration, the sweet and beautiful Bryce said that “the Kate Spade offer came up and I kind of lost my mind. There’s something about that brand that, from a young age, I really, really, really connected with. It was always the thing I wanted for Christmas… since I was 15 or 16.”

The “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” star also added that this “represents a lifestyle that I always really loved.…It’s my first experience [in an ad campaign]. But I wouldn’t have been good otherwise.…It just would have been obvious if I weren’t into the brand.”

Bryce looks lovely and young in the ad campaign. Made by celebrity and fashion photographer Norman Jean Roy in a Brooklyn loft, for both Spring and Fall 2011 campaigns, the photos that have as protagonist Bryce Dallas Howard show the actress, wearing just Kate Spade clothes and accessories, and doing different relaxing and fun activities, such as riding the bike, roller skating or dancing.

“It was so much fun, it was all the things that I like to do: bike riding, a lot of dancing, hopping around, being playful and fun, and nothing felt at all staged,” Howard said.

Deborah Lloyd, president and chief creative officer at Kate Spade explained the reason for having chosen Bryce Dallas Howard as the brand’s ambassador. “We’ve been looking for someone to have a partnership with, as opposed to a flirtation. We loved her, and that she grew up with the brand.…She’s not just a pretty face. Bryce is playful, gorgeous and multi-talented. She embraces and embodies the spirit of our brand. The moment she puts our clothes on they come to life in a new, spirited way.”

Bryce Dallas Howard is the daughter of famous director Ron Howard and she became known to the public due to her roles in “Lady in the Water”, “Terminator Salvation”, “Spider-Man 3”, but mostly for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” where she played Victoria.
