Chris Pratt & Bryce Dallas Howard Present “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” Teaser

The first trailer for Guest Host Chris Pratt’s new movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom comes out later this week, so he brought his co-star/friend Bryce Dallas Howard on to present an exclusive teaser for that trailer.

“Jurassic World” Sequel Gets Title

‘Jurassic World’ Sequel Gets Title, First Poster

The sequel to Jurassic World has a title and a new poster.

The upcoming film has been given the cryptic title Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and will be released June 22, 2018.

The tag on the poster, which is mostly all black with the park logo and some fire embers, is “Life finds a way.” That, of course, echoes the famous Ian Malcolm line for the original 1993 film. It’s an appropriate tag, since Jeff Goldblum will reprise his role as Malcolm in the sequel.

J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is directing the new installment of the rebooted franchise. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are also returning for the follow-up alongside Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones.

Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, wrote the script for Fallen Kingdom with Derek Connolly.

Jurassic World earned $1.67 billion worldwide in 2015 and is the fourth-highest-grossing film in history.

Bryce Dallas Howard back for Jurassic World 2

“Jurassic World” broke several box office records and as previously reported the sequel, aptly titled “Jurassic World 2” instead of “Jurassic Park 5,” will release on June 22, 2018. Actress Bryce Dallas Howard confirmed during an interview with eTalk that she will be reprising her role and that production begins in 2017.

“I’m for sure in the sequel, which is awesome,” the actress explained carefully to avoid spilling any plot spoilers. “It’s really cool and ‘Jurassic World 2’ is happening relatively soon; I mean we’re going to be shooting it in 2017, it’s going to come out June 22nd 2018.”

Howard portrayed Claire, the main operations manager for the park. Chris Pratt will also return as Owen Grady, the Velociraptor trainer and Claire’s love interest. By the film’s finale they decided to stick together for “survival” and may be crucial characters that may stop the dinosaurs from wrecking havoc world wide.

Although production schedules and a release date have been set, director Colin Trevorrow will not be returning to helm the sequel. Instead, as stated in a report from Movie Pilot, he will be working on the script before he moves on to direct “Star Wars Episode IX.”

No official plot for the sequel has yet been released but the report does cite that there are a few hints in “Jurassic World” that give an indication of the direction the studios are going in.

B.D. Wong, who plays Dr. Henry Wu, was able to escape the island with his technology and dinosaur embryos. There is a scene in the film where he even explains that there will be a day where other companies will be able to create their own dinosaurs as well. Vincent D’Onofrio’s character also states that the dinosaurs could be used as weapons.

Movie Pilot also states that director Trevorrow previously explained that he changed the title from “Jurassic Park 4” to “Jurassic World” for a reason, hinting that the next film might see the dinosaurs causing the end of human civilization akin to the “Planet of the Apes” franchise.
